Missions Trip 2025 – Summer Adventures Camp
Yesterday marked the first day of our camp, with over 40 children taking part!
It was heartwarming to see their faces filled with excitement and their eyes full of anticipation for what they would discover. Many already had some knowledge of English and were eager to build on it.
The theme for the day was “God is Love”, focusing on how He loves each of them unconditionally. Through songs, crafts, games, and sharing lunch together, the children experienced God's love in tangible, meaningful ways.
This young man, now 39 years old, was one of the reasons we began our feeding and orphan programs. Spartak first came to see me with his grandmother when he was just 10 years old. I still remember her words: “Pastor, I'm going to die soon, and Spartak has no one to look after him. Will you please promise to care for him?”
That moment marked the beginning of our journey feeding, clothing, and caring for the medical needs of children in need. Spartak has faced many health challenges over the years and has come close to death more than once. Unable to work, he now comes daily to our feeding program to grab something to eat in the small shack he calls home.
Please continue to pray for these children and our team as we serve with love and faith.
Stay tuned for more updates from camp and Happy Canada Day!
