Missions Trip 2025 – July 5 Update
Great News! Not only was Friday the final day of our children’s camp, but it was also a truly unforgettable one. Throughout the week, the children had been learning about different aspects of God’s love. And on this fifth and final day, as the gospel was explained and an opportunity given, well over half of the children responded and prayed to invite Jesus into their lives. What an incredible and joyful moment! A true reward for all the effort and love poured into the week.
Please continue to pray for the two local churches and those working with the children, that they would be diligent in following up and helping these young ones attend church regularly and grow in their new faith. Here is a video that our executive director, Rudina, made to capture the special day!
“Day 5- English Immersion Camp,
Last day of camp, thankful for every child who was part of our camp June 30th - July 4th, 2025.
I just want to take a moment to say thank you to David Pennoyer, Valbona Pennoyer, Marc Cole, Anna Foti, Aferdita Balasch, Kimberley Pennoyer, Zoe, Eliona Shehu, Tatiana, Nejla & Kejsi Meçani. Your dedication made a real impact - not just in the fun and games, but in planting seeds of faith and showing God’s love in powerful ways. Whether you led a group, prepared snacks, ran activities, prayed, or simply showed up with a smile, you were part of something truly meaningful. Thank you for being faithful, joyful and all in. I am so grateful for this team and all that we were able to do together. Thank you Lord for this great opportunity to reach the children for your Kingdom 😇”
Each child received a gift bag with the words “Never, never, never give up” printed on the outside. They were encouraged to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and to never give up, no matter what. Inside the bag was an English/Albanian Bible, a tool for both spiritual growth and language learning, along with a toothbrush as a practical reminder of care and health.
A talent contest was held between the groups, filling the room with creativity, laughter, and friendly competition. The winning group was awarded a frisbee, a fun prize to wrap up the day’s excitement!
Later that evening, we gathered for a powerful Night of Worship. The bands had the opportunity to put into practice what Mark had taught them during two earlier training sessions. It was a beautiful time of worship, and the presence of Jesus was felt in a deep and meaningful way. One of the most touching moments was seeing four generations of musicians worshiping together, a true reflection of unity and legacy within the church.
Our incredible team — the heart behind the mission!
